The information in this book only applies to the following classes: magic user classes which use books. Each such class should have its own type of spellbooks, and the books should be semi-randomly generated. These classes with books should start with one of two (randomly determined) static spellbooks. Learning versus using: ADOM uses a system where casters 'learn' spells from books by studying them, and then they don't need the book. IIRC, the book eventually disappears after they've learned from it often enough. Moria-family uses a system where casters learn spells once, from books they carry around with them, and they keep on needing the book to cast the spell. Books don't disappear. I don't know what model I want to use yet, if not a mix. Maybe different wizardish classes should go different ways.
